Vinted seller guide
How Vinted payouts work, from sale to bank account
When the money lands in your Vinted Balance, how long it takes to reach your bank, what it costs, and what to do when a payout is stuck.

The short answer
Vinted pays you once the order is completed: when the buyer confirms everything is OK, or automatically 2 days after the parcel is marked delivered. The money reaches your Vinted Balance (called Vinted Wallet in some markets) within 2 days of completion, and a bank withdrawal then takes up to 5 business days. Add up the stages and the biggest variables are yours: how fast you ship (you have up to 5 business days) and how long delivery takes (usually 2–5 business days within a country).
- buyer window after delivery
- 2 days
- from completion to available balance
- 2 days
- business days for a bank withdrawal

When does money reach your Vinted Balance?
Vinted’s payment provider holds the buyer’s payment until the order is completed. That protects the buyer if the item never arrives or is not as described, and it is why your money shows as pending first. Here is the full path from sale to bank.
- 1
Buyer pays
The buyer pays at checkout. The amount shows in your Vinted Balance as pending. You cannot use it yet.
- 2
You ship within 5 business days
Send the parcel with the prepaid label. Missing the deadline cancels the order and refunds the buyer. See how shipping works.
- 3
Parcel is delivered
Once tracking marks the order delivered, the buyer has 2 days to press “Everything is OK” or report an issue.
- 4
Order completes
Either the buyer confirms, the 2 days pass without a claim, or a reported issue is resolved. Pro sellers: 14 days after delivery.
- 5
Money becomes available
Within 2 days of completion, the payment moves from pending to available balance.
- 6
Withdraw to your bank
Press “Withdraw to bank account”. It can take up to 5 business days to arrive.
How to withdraw money from Vinted to your bank
Add your bank details in your payment settings first. Then open your Vinted Balance and press Withdraw to bank account. You can only withdraw earnings from completed orders; pending money cannot be withdrawn. Once started, a withdrawal cannot be cancelled.
| Market | Currency | Bank account | Minimum | Arrival |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| United Kingdom | GBP only | UK account with account number and sort code | £0.10 | Up to 5 business days |
| Euro markets (e.g. France) | EUR only | Account located in the EU or EEA | €0.10 | Up to 5 business days |
| United States | USD only | US account with account and routing number | $0.10 | Up to 5 business days |
Each bank account can be linked to only one Vinted profile, and with Vinted Pay the account must be in your own name. On your bank statement the payment may show as “Vinted”, “Vinted Pay”, “Adyen”, “Mangopay” or “Leechy”.
You do not have to withdraw at all. Available money can be spent on Vinted, and it is applied automatically at checkout when you buy.
Does Vinted charge for payouts?
Vinted’s withdrawal pages for the UK, France and the US list a minimum amount but no withdrawal fee. Vinted Pay’s own fee page lists a single charge, a 1.2% currency conversion fee when you use your balance to buy an item listed in a different currency, and says no other fees are currently charged for its services.
Selling itself costs nothing: Vinted takes no commission from sellers, so the price you sold for is the amount that reaches your balance. See Vinted fees explained for what buyers pay.
Identity verification (KYC): why Vinted asks for your ID
Vinted’s payment providers, Vinted Pay or Mangopay depending on your account, are regulated and must verify who they pay out to under Know Your Customer rules. You may be asked to verify:
- when you first activate your Vinted Balance;
- periodically, for example when a document is about to expire;
- when you reach certain withdrawal thresholds or the provider sees unusual activity.
Depending on the provider, you may need a passport, driving licence, residence permit, a selfie, a bank statement or proof of address. Pro sellers also go through business checks (KYB). Vinted says the documents go straight to the payment provider and that it does not store them.
Until the check is complete, withdrawals are paused and the balance can be suspended. Submitting fake or altered documents can lead to a permanent withdrawal block or a ban. If your account is restricted, our appeal guide explains what to do.
Why is my Vinted payout delayed?
Most “missing” payouts are one of these. A failed withdrawal never leaves your Vinted Balance, so the money is not lost.
Still pending
The order is not completed
Money stays pending until the buyer confirms, the 2-day window passes after delivery, or a reported issue is resolved. A tracking number that never shows “delivered” delays everything.
Claim open
The buyer reported an issue
When a buyer presses “I have an issue”, the order is suspended and the payment held until you agree a solution or Vinted support decides.
Verification
An ID check is waiting
If the payment provider has asked for documents, withdrawals are paused until you complete the check.
Bank details
The withdrawal failed
Name mismatch, a wrong account number or sort code, an account in someone else’s name or already linked to another profile. Fix the details and try again.
Wrong account
Sent to a closed account
Money sent to a closed or non-existent account returns to your Vinted Balance within 14 calendar days; to an account that is not yours, within up to 15 business days.
Bank timing
It is still within 5 business days
Weekends and bank holidays do not count. After 5 business days, contact Vinted with bank statement screenshots from the withdrawal date to today.
How to get paid faster on Vinted
You cannot speed up the buyer window or the bank, but you control the rest.
- Ship the same or next day. The 5-business-day deadline is a limit, not a target. Every day the parcel sits is a day later you get paid. Our shipping guide covers labels and drop-off.
- Describe flaws honestly and photograph them. “Not as described” claims hold your money longest. Clear photos of the actual item are your best evidence.
- Pack well and keep proof of postage. Damaged parcels and missing receipts slow down claims.
- Set up your balance before you sell. Activate it, add bank details in your own name and complete any ID check early.

Vinted payouts: answered
When do I get paid on Vinted?
After the order is completed. That happens when the buyer presses “Everything is OK”, or automatically 2 days after the parcel is marked delivered if the buyer does nothing. The money then reaches your Vinted Balance (Wallet) within 2 days, moving from pending to available. For Pro sellers, orders complete 14 days after delivery.
How long does a Vinted withdrawal take to reach my bank?
Up to 5 business days, Monday to Friday, excluding weekends and bank holidays. Your payment history shows when a specific withdrawal should arrive. If it has not arrived after 5 business days, contact Vinted with bank statement screenshots.
Does Vinted charge a fee to withdraw money?
Vinted’s withdrawal help pages list no withdrawal fee, and Vinted Pay’s fee page lists only a 1.2% currency conversion fee for paying in a different currency, with no other fees currently charged. In the UK, Vinted announced in July 2026 that its provider Mangopay will charge £30 a year on balances inactive for 24 consecutive months.
What is the minimum withdrawal on Vinted?
£0.10 in the UK, €0.10 in euro markets and $0.10 in the US. Withdrawals below the minimum fail and the money stays in your balance.
Why is Vinted asking for my ID?
Vinted’s payment providers (Vinted Pay or Mangopay) must verify sellers under Know Your Customer (KYC) rules to prevent fraud and money laundering. You may be asked when you first activate your balance, when you reach certain thresholds or when a document expires. Until the check is done, withdrawals are paused.
Why did my Vinted withdrawal fail?
Common reasons: the amount is below the minimum, the bank details do not match the name on your Vinted Balance, the account number or sort code is formatted wrongly, the account is already linked to another Vinted profile, or the bank account is not in your own name. A failed withdrawal stays in your Vinted Balance.
Can I withdraw to PayPal or a foreign bank account?
Vinted’s withdrawal help pages describe withdrawals to a bank account only, in the local currency: GBP to a UK account (account number and sort code), EUR to an account in the EU or EEA, and USD to a US account.
Can I spend my Vinted Balance instead of withdrawing it?
Yes. Available money can be used to buy on Vinted, and if you have a balance it is applied automatically at checkout. You cannot top up a Vinted Balance with your own money.
